For Dr. Benavente, the goal is not simply to correct an imaging finding, but to understand what is truly limiting the patient: pain, loss of mobility, difficulty walking, instability or functional deterioration.
Surgical indication is assessed individually, integrating imaging tests, clinical examination, age, activity level and recovery expectations. When surgery is the best option, the patient must clearly understand the procedure, its goals and the rehabilitation process.
His activity ranges from spine surgery to shoulder care, hip and knee replacement surgery, treatment of complex fractures and regenerative therapies in selected cases.
